[0.03] Progress Report II

It's been a long time since I last posted my advances on the update, so here I am to tell you what I've done, and what is still left to do until this remaster is complete and ready to kick in:

- Made roughly 600 renders so far. And there are some left to do.
I've been very busy creating a lot of new renders. While some old renders have vanished into the void, new ones have taken their place. But who's counting?  Certainly not me — I can't even buy a jar of cookies anymore!

- Made 5 new characters with enhanced design for existing ones.
Four of these fresh faces will make their grand debut in the remastered first scene, and each one is more vibrant than ever. The character cast is growing wider than the Cheshire Cat's gri- Uh... no...

- A lot of animations (including H-scenes)
I've been falling down the animation's rabbit hole rather early! With a lot of help (seriously, a lot), these animations are making the world more lively, more immersive, and — dare I say — a bit SINister? *laughs uncontrollably*

- Finally slayed the wicked serpent, Black Screen!
I took up my sword (or maybe just my keyboard) and faced the fearsome threat! It's been a tough fight, but I successfully slayed the wicked serpent, Black Screen and all its acolytes. No more boring black screens and their awkward narrative! No longer shall it darken our story with awkward pauses and empty voids. Callooh! Callay!

- New music + a LOT of new SFX
Ah, yes, SOUND. With ample assistance (a lot, once again), I’ve introduced a symphony of new music and a mountain of SFX to immerse you fully. and caress those little things you have on both sides of your head~ To immerse you fully in the world I'm creating.

- UI Enhanced
Not much to add here. The UI looks better now, that's it. You may rejoice now~

Now, onto what is left to do.
Before this remaster is fully ready to be devoured, there are a few things I need to do first, some of which are:

- Remastering the opening scene
The first scene you see when starting a new game is getting a major overhaul. Forget what you know—this isn’t just a remaster; it’s practically a remake with a new name to boot! "Me, Myself, and I." The detailed script is almost ready. But this scene will be the thing that will take most of the time left due to the fact that it's:
     - A lot longer
     - It features 3 (technically 6) new environments, crafted by yours truly.
     - 4 new characters and a new outfit to our MC.
     - More than 10 animations.
     - A lot of programing involved to enhance the experience.
     - And, of course, involves a lot of suffering on my part.

- Adding one last scene
To wrap up this version’s content in style, one final scene will be added. Think of it as the cherry on top.

- Finish making some scattered renders
Here and there, there are renders that are left to do.

- Finish setting up the new UI characteristics
This includes adding new achievements, polishing narrative elements, tweaking textboxes, and, naturally, exterminating the last few bugs lurking in the code.

- Other small things
Little finishing touches that, while not headline-worthy on their own, will help perfect the game.

It’s been a long, tough journey, but the finish line is in sight. I’ll be keeping you in the loop more regularly from now on.
Thanks for sticking with me, and have an awesome week.
- Vorpal
